About Wankaner
Wankaner Municipality, with population of about 44 thousand is Wankaner sub district’s only municipality located in Wankaner sub district of Rajkot district in the state Gujarat in India. Amarsinhji built the Ranjit Vilas Palace on a hill, overlooking Wankaner town. It took seven years to full and was planned by Amarsinhji himself.
