V. Narayanasamy is an Indian politician and a member of Indian National Congress political party. He served as the 10th Chief Minister of Puducherry. He served for the period of 2016 to 2021 as CM of Puducherry. Earlier, V. Narayanasamy also served as Member of Parliament, he was a representative of Puducherry in the Lok Sabha. He also was appointed as a Union Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office during Manmohan Singh’s government.

He has one daughter and one son. His hobbies are playing volleyball and badminton. He is also doing social and cultural activities. He served as a president of All India Backward Classes Employees Federation and Cultural Secretary of Constitution Club.
